Today's daily snap (find out what it's all about HERE) is a simple one- the current pile of books I'm reading/about to read on my nightstand.
As well as reading actual proper books (like in olden times), I'm also listening to 'The Rosie Project' on Audiobook and reading 'The Picture of Dorian Grey', 'Anna Karenina' and 'Ulysses' (I only dip in and out of those last two really) on my phone.
Let me know in the comments what your current book list looks like!

Reminds me I need to get reading on the Kindle library books I have. I love that flower lighting I see in the picture.
ReplyDeleteThank you! They're orchid lights! I'm confused- you can get library books on your kindle? Or am I reading that wrong?
DeleteI don't know if it's available everywhere. But I go to my San Francisco Public Library website and search e-books in Kindle format. I then click to check it out if there is an available copy. After that it sends me to Amazon where I can download the book through their whispernet.
DeleteI love having the option for Kindle library books.

DeleteI forgot to mention that I needed to be a member of my local library (SFPL) so I can also be have access to their online check out system for e-books.
DeleteI've never heard of that over here but I'll definitely be looking into it- sounds like a really practical idea! I love my kindle, I tend to read half of my books on that and half actual books, it's handy for bigger novels etc.
Deletei Love when bloggers share their reading lists, i often purchase the same.So I will have to check these out. I've just finished Until You're Mine, Very good. Now reading Big Brother, but i need to have a day so I can just read away! :-)
ReplyDeleteIf you could recommend just one which is a good read, which one should I go for?X
DeleteI've wanted to read Until you're mine for a while now, will definitely pick it up! And i can't wait to start Big Brother, Love Lionel Shriver. I haven't finished any of these (except for the cat book) yet so I don't know if I'd recommend any of them yet but I recently read 'Gone Girl', 'Me Before You' and 'The Fault in Our Stars', all of which were excellent! Hope that helps!x
DeleteP,s I'm about half way through 'The Picture of Dorian Grey' and it's brilliant too! :)
I have a massive pile of books that I own to read, I tend to build these uup and get books out of the library. Which I've also piled up, I have the maximum amount of books out of the library (8) and still have 3 waiting for me to take out! I have Cinder by Marissa Meyer, Crossed by Ally Condie, Across the Universe by Beth Revis, The Hit by Melvin Burgess, Life After Life by Kate Atkinson all to finish reading from the library.
