Marilyn & Me

Last week I won a fabulous prize from the lovely Katie @What Katie Did.. to celebrate her new facebook page @ https://www.facebook.com/WhatKatieHealyDid .

A happy day it was indeed when the postman arrived with this black box of treats.

Nestled inside was; a set of Betty Ray lashes, Essence lipstick in "Almost Famous"(a classic red lipstick with a creamy texture, smelling of vanilla-yum), Catrice Precision Lipliner in "The Roof is on Fire"(a solid red with a twist-up applicator), Essence Liquid Liner in Black (great formula but with an intriguing new applicator), Victoria Jackson Lipgloss (a dark pinky/brown, has a nice minty fragrance):

and Catrice nail polish in "Marilyn & Me" (a beautiful pinky red with small red glitter pieces and potentially my favourite in the box, hence the post title!):

This colour makes me happy every time I look down at my nails, it's like a subtle version of Dorothy's ruby slippers!
