I mentioned Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre in "Illusoire" in a previous post and raved about it...naturally, because it is a thing of beauty. Then, the other day, I got my grubby-make-up-loving paws on "Emerveille" and had to do a post on it too. Behold:
This doesn't photograph hugely true to life, it looks mostly gold there but in reality it's a pale pink with flecks of gold running through it. And it's very pretty. I gamely tried to swatch it, this being the result:
This baby does not like to be photographed. When worn properly, it looks beautiful blended with "Illusoire", worn lightly on it's own for a subtle sheen or built up in a few layers for a proper blast of colour. It can also be used as a highlighter (I won't lie, my sister gave me that idea). Like "Illusoire", it comes in a glass pot with a very cute little Chanel brush, pictured beside it there. Chanel packaging is just so fabulous. I can't imagine this running out any time soon either, a little goes a long way and there is plenty in the pot. It's a cream eyeshadow, which means it glides on nicely with only the use of a finger, if the world's cutest brush is not to your liking. All in all, this is rather lovely.
Oh I love that colour! Perfect for summer :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous, I love it :)
