My All Time Favourite Jewellery

#SBBC (read about it HERE) day 2 is all about your most beloved jewellery, which is right up my street, given my extreme magpie tendencies. If it's uber sparkly and pretty then I want it and if it's reasonably priced then I will most likely shortly thereafter be seen with said shiny bauble hanging around my neck. I've previously gone on at length about my love for the statement necklace HERE and HERE but these pieces are in a very different category- classic, "I'll love you forever" items of jewellery that have a more sentimental attachment and make me feel happy every time I look at them. These aren't going to go out of fashion any time soon and it pleases me to know I'll always have them to remind me of really happy moments in my life.
*Just on a side note, I'm not in any way bragging here, these were all gifts from loved ones and I obviously consider myself very lucky to have received them.

First up, my Tiffany's heart key necklace. I love the key design and had hinted that to my husband reasonably strongly last year before my birthday. Being the legend that he is he picked me out one with a heart in it, as I am also rather heart-obsessed. I love this so much because it sits beautifully, goes with everything and was just a lovely gift.

I'm a huge Vivienne Westwood fan and I adore this Saturn orb brooch- the classic VW image. I particularly like to wear this in Winter on a black woolly coat, it dresses every outfit up and is just something a bit different.

These were my wedding earrings and so naturally they carry wonderful memories with them but that aside, I really think you can't go wrong with a pair of pearl earrings- I wear these all the time and again, they go with so much.

Lastly, how could I possibly write a post on my favourite jewellery without mentioning my wedding and engagement rings. It feels like I've always worn them now and any time I've had to take them off for an extended period (when I was in hospital mostly) has been very odd and made me feel like I was missing something. Thankfully they're now firmly back on my ring finger, as they should be!

So that's my lot, do let me know in the comments what your favourite piece of jewellery is and if you associate them with memories as strongly as I do.

  3. J'adore your wedding & engagement rings, so beautiful. As is the Tiffany key pendant, how long is it if you don't mind me asking? As in does the key sit on your breast bone, between your boobs, or is it a long, hangs down to your belly kinda length?

    1. Thanks Evie! It's actually on a short enough chain, prob sits just around the breastbone, def not as far as the boobs. But you can change the chain easily enough if you'd prefer a longer one. x
