Book Haul

I received all of these as birthday presents and have been really enjoying flicking through them for
recipe ideas and general loveliness.

Every Summer the V & A museum in London holds an exhibition throughout the Summer- last year it was Ballgowns, celebrating British Glamour since 1950. There's some really stunning pieces in there and as I couldn't make it to the actual exhibition, this is the next best thing.

642 Things to Draw is just that- 642 suggestions for cool things to sketch. Each drawing is completed on the actual pages of the book so when you're finished you've got a full record of all your hard artistic efforts! I loved art in school so I'm really excited to get back into it with this.
I've been loving the "Feminist Ryan Gosling" memes on t'internet and this is basically a collection of those with lots of pictures of Gosling looking hot. One of my favourites:
'Hey Girl, Mr. Rochester might be a misunderstood character, but it's still messed up that he would keep any woman locked in an attic".

I love Rachel Khoo and have wanted her Little Paris Kitchen cookbook for ages now. There are some amazing classic French recipes in there but with a twist, like croque madam muffins..nom! I'm really looking forward to trying them out.
Domestic Sluttery is actually written by a blogger and covers loads of topics, including home decor, travel, food & drink and fashion & beauty. It's given me loads of ideas that I'm very excited to try out!
And yes, that was a little fox trinket holder in the first picture..

There he is, having the craic with Ryan.
Have you picked up any new fun books lately? Any recommendations?
