I tried one of Benefit's creaseless cream shadow/liners a few years ago (skinny jeans if I recall correctly) and while I liked that one I wasn't particularly blown away. Then I saw this reduced on directcosmetics.com and thought it'd be a nice base colour for under my new Chanel Illusion D'Ombre, which I've posted about here. Now I actually have it though I've realised how lovely a shade it is on it's own. I've read other reviews that have said it's similar to Mac's paint pots, is long wearing and crease proof. I've never tried Mac's paint pots (shocking, I know) but I can fully agree with the rest of the positive reviews.
It looks just like a standard gold cream but it's actually a kind of pink/burnt gold, depending on how the light hits it, which is just really interesting. Gold shades tend to be super flattering on blue eyes so I'm really pleased with this and wear time is really good. This has been discontinued as far as I know but like I said, it is available on offer from directcosmetics.com which seems to be a handy site for lots of stuff and well worth checking out, if like me, you have a minor *ahem* make up addiction.

I think I defo have an addiction too so don't worry:) Really like this, very unusual!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I thought that too- it is a really unusual shade. As for the make up addiction, there's definitely worse things we could be into! :-) xx
DeleteYou've just reminded me I have one of these somewhere so I must dig it out, it was quite nice if I recall! This one looks very pretty xo
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely on and surprisingly long lasting, I was quite pleased with it- have seen other nice shades that I may be looking into too!xx
