My amazing husband got me this perfume as part of my Valentines Day present and I've been wearing it non stop since- Agent Provocateur do several different perfumes as part of their fragrance range but this is the first one I've ever really loved. First off- just look at that beautiful bottle. Heavy glass etched with white flowers, a delicate pink liquid and that lid- like a little grenade stopper that sits in and acts as a lid and then pops out, allowing you to press down and spray the scent.
This is the brands description on their website:
"The Exquisite new fragrance from Agent Provocateur is a deep floral scent with a hint of oriental mystique. The launch of the new Petale Noir fragrance personifies the modern and naturally confident woman, but be warned, she knows what she wants and knows how to get it.
The fragrance is made with the finest of oils featuring dramatic florals for the heart and precious woods enhanced by musk crystals and sweet spicy accords that ignite the senses. A rich, vintage rose pink juice perfectly compliments the delicately floral and beautifully shaped sensual bottle".
Well. That's me told. The fragrance itself is like nothing else I own- floral but musky, mature but feminine and it lasts on the skin all day. It also noticeably has several different layers- I love the way it changes after it's been applied and it definitely taps into the oriental trend that's been so big in the perfume world this year. I agree that there's something quite retro about it too- like what I can imagine my mother wearing in the 80's and there's something really comforting about that.
This is a very unique scent, I'm absolutely loving it. You can check out more from the brand in House of Fraser or on their online site, HERE. Let me know in the comments if you've tried this or any other AP perfume.
Xx
